We are Richmond's longest operating residential exterior remodeler seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, construction estimating, and project coordination. Typical projects will be screened porches, decks, and additions.
Duties:
- Plan and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Review project plans and specifications
- Ensure project is completed within budget and on time
- Prepare and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses
- Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction estimating, project management, and contract negotiation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
